PPPB gone bush

Here is a PPPB that we found in the Grampian National Park over Easter.

UNFKNBLVBL (or something similar found on the back of utes )
It faces the dirt track - glorious view behind.

*Note. The youngster pictured below is a budding myrmecologist, and is scouring the rocks for myrmecia pilosula (or so he rekons anyhow..)

That's more like it...

Thank you for your contriubtion Adam.

I think these are a great idea upto the point where you want to sit down and you have to kick the homeless person out. Then I think it could get ugly....

Call to arms!

Right, this blog has been up for 2 YEARS and I'm the only one on the planet who cares.
Somebody bost a PPPB soon.
I'll even settle for a well placed park bench - anything!
Don't make me go out and start moving park benches....

Obviously no one cares....

Ok.
Remarkably, it seems I am the ONLY human on the planet prepared to carry the yoke of this worthy public cause. Stoically, I'll keep the dream alive. Hoping that the cooling embers of general disinterest will one day become a mighty conflagration of popular opinion...

Does nobody care?

A picture tells a thousand word it's true, but I'll add a couple.
What a shitty spot.

Poorly Placed Park Bench number 1

Exhibit A, notice the clump of trees obscuring the water view as well as the 'Yabbie Pumping Prohibited' sign. To the right a litte, are splendid (unobscured views) right up the water. On the whole I think this is quiet a good example of a PPPB.

and another thing...

Ok, it's been a year since I started this Blog, and I've finally had a quiet musing - but first some acknowledegments.
Firstly, I'm staggered that 3 people have bothered their arses to actually post something here. Actually, it's probably only 1 person - and that's a small polyester ape at that...the first looks like some sort of sad ad for Wriggleys Gum (no offence if you are actually a park ranger) and the last is probably an IM robot flogging a porn site - thanks, but no thanks.

And now for musing number 2.
I'm starting a catalogue of:
Poorly Placed Park Benches - or, PPPBs (if you prefer a catchy acronym).

I was wandering down the road here at beautiful Burleigh on the GC in QLD when I passed a park bench sited in what can only be described as a dissapointing location - I'll try to get a photo of it up.
It's about 3m from a sign reading "Yabbie Pumping Prohibited". Now that's NOT the most inspiring of vistas - espesically when said park bench could be placed nigh on 10m away and looking down the guts of a stunning waterway (riddled with Bull sharks mind you) whilst the sun sinks slowly into the horizon.
So, I'm appealing to citizens (and stuffed toys) from everwhere - post me your PPPBs.
I'm sure you've seen a few Murray the small ape from Melbourne...
